Executive Project Summary

A leading direct selling healthcare company partnered with us to explore how AI could enhance their operations and customer experience. While internal excitement around AI was high, attempts to implement tools like ChatGPT had little impact. Our AI Readiness Assessment uncovered deep misalignments, clarified the role AI could play in their strategy - and not - and resulted in a prioritised roadmap for adoption.

The Problem

The client is an established direct selling business that produces and distributes its own health and wellness products through a field-based agent network.

With increasing interest in AI across the organisation, the leadership team wanted to understand how to move beyond ad hoc tool experimentation and towards a more coherent plan that better aligned with their growth ambitions and operational needs.

Despite high enthusiasm, there was no shared vision for AI across departments:

  • Over 60% of leadership saw AI as a tool to automate and optimise existing operations.
  • 40% believed AI should be used to reimagine the business model and customer experience.
  • Internal champions felt isolated and unsupported, unsure where to start or how to demonstrate value.

The Solution

We delivered a structured AI Readiness Assessment, including:
